Offered for sale as a purebred Katahdin ram $400
Light red/fawn ram with a pale face. Nice, short hair coat. Positive growth, good milk and solid prolificacy scores; this is a balanced ram and should be a solid producer of both grower lambs and replacement ewes. He is out of my newly-purchased chocolate ram from Birch Cove Farm in Missouri (David Coplen); which is a grass-based, minimal input system with a long history of NSIP data. On the maternal side, he’s got other solid NSIP genetics from Iowa and Montana, so brings a lot of fresh genetics to the PNW.
Photo taken Aug 2020. EBVs from 2020 lamb crop WWT data. This ram will be weaned and ready to go to a new home late August.
