Offered for sale as a purebred Katahdin ram $450
A very flashy bicolor ram, nice short hair coat. Very strong growth, good milk, but low on prolificacy. He is a good candidate for a terminal sire, or for those who prefer replacement ewes that tend way away from triplets. Pedigree is a good blend of Birch Cove (David Coplen, Missouri), KRK (Oregon), Misty River Farm (Mary Bakko, Moses Lake, now retired), and Just Plain Sheep (Jody Ouradnik in Eastern WA). A strong North Dakota State U ram as a maternal grandsire as well. Pictured here with his dam, he was a single, so is pretty big and should be able to cover a lot of ewes this fall.
