Offered for sale as a purebred Katahdin ewelamb $300, genotyped, exposed
Cute feminine, fawn/reddish ewelamb. Positive growth EBVs and modest maternal traits, a little weak on milk, but should be an uncomplicated producer. Sired by a framey, dark chocolate ram from Birch Cove Farm (David Coplen, Missouri). Dam traces to On The Lamb Farm (SJG) and Misty River Farm (Mary Bakko, Moses Lake, now retired).
Photo from January 2022. EBVs from 2021 lamb crop EPWWT data and includes the new Genomics run calculations, and this ewe is genotyped herself. NSIP is currently not reporting the USA HAIR index, until it can be updated with the new Genomics calculations. This ewelamb is register-able, weaned, and ready to go to a new home today! She will be exposed to a ram starting 11/6/21.

Interested in this ewe. We live in Duvall on a 25 acre hobby farm tho use approx 10 acres btw pastures, paddocks/barn. Needing help this spring/summer with vegetation munching…our vet suggested sheep bc our goats are not interested.
Familiar with alpacas and breeding process…not sheep.
Renee, I’ll email you!
