Offered for sale as a registerable Katahdin yearling ewe with ewelamb at side $575
Feminine fawn ewelamb. Really strong EBVs across the board. Her pedigree is a blend of my own genetics, plus Birch Cove (David Coplen, Missouri), a USDA ram from the Booneville research station we got to borrow in 2019, plus a ram from On The Lamb Farm (Arlington) that traces back to a White Post ram.
EBVs from the 2024 lamb crop birth data. Photo taken May 2023. She is NSIP Maternal and Stud Certified. She has a red ewelamb at side. These were the result of an accidental breeding with a large mob of rams. I will DNA test the lambs and pass along the sire info it it’s identifiable, otherwise the lambs can be recorded as 50% and upgraded (I hope to know by late April, as the turnaround time for NSIP DNA is slow).
