Offered for sale as a recordable Katahdin ewelamb $275
Tall white ewe with some large Wiltshire Horn style big brown spots. She was the result of an accidental breeding last August while I still had all the unweaned ram lambs with the dams. Her DNA sample failed so I have re-submitted it and may know more about her in Aug, and that will likely also change her EBVs. Dam is out of a neat sire we got to borrow from the USDA Research Station in Booneville, AR; and she also traces back to Birth Cove (David Coplen, MO) and Thistle Grove Farm (David Bare, DVM, IA).
EBVs from the 2024 lamb crop WWT data. Photo taken May 2024. She is weaned and ready to go to a new home today. Because she’s older and more substantial, she is much more likely to breed this fall than April born ewelambs.
