Offered for sale as a recordable Katahdin ewelamb $275
Framey solid chocolate ewe. She was the result of an accidental breeding last August while I still had all the unweaned ram lambs with the dams. Her EBVs are pretty strong despite the hole in her pedigree, so her own performance, her dam’s EBVs and her DNA show she is a good ewe. Dam traces back to Misty River Farm (Mary Bakko, Moses Lake, now retired) and a little bit from Aspen Mountain (Aileen Scott, MT).
EBVs from the 2024 lamb crop WWT data. Photo taken May 2024. She is weaned and ready to go to a new home today. Because she’s older and more substantial, she is much more likely to breed this fall than April born ewelambs.
