Offered for sale as a purebred, registered Katahdin ewe, $325
Full bodied red flecked six-year-old ewe. Her EBVs are modest across the board, which is why I’m selling her, her scores are just a little low to stay on my keeper list. But she is a good mother and has many years of lambing left in her. Pedigree is a blend of Birch Cove Farm (David Coplen, Missouri), Carl Ginapp (Iowa, now retired from sheep), Misty River Farm (Mary Bakko, Moses Lake, now retired), Just Plain Sheep (Jody Ouradnik, now retired) and KRK (Karen Kenagy, Oregon) and my own genetics. Lambing record starting as a yearling: 1/1, 2/2, 2/1, 2/2, 1/1, 1/1, 2/2.
