Beefy white ewe. Sire came all the way from North Carolina State University, and traces back to Hound River Farm (Roxanne Newton, GA), Lee Wright’s flock in Virginia, as well as USDA stock. Dam’s side still has some Birch Cove Farm (David Coplen, MO). Very strong NSIP pedigree going way back. Growth and prolificacy scores are good, milk is moderate and parasite resistance is on the poor side. She will do best in a small well managed flock that either feeds well or stays on top of parasite management.
