Offered for sale as a record-able Katahdin ewelamb $275
Cute chocolate yearling ewe. Her dam must have lost a pregnancy and re-bred late, as she was born in July. I don’t know who her sire is, so she’s purebred, but record-able as 50% (NSIP DNA tests from July may eventually turn up, but right now are MIA). Dam genetics are from out-of-state lines, USDA Research Station in Booneville, AR and Birch Cove (David Coplen, MO, new retired).
EBVs from 2025 lamb crop EPWWT data. Photo taken March 2026. She blood tested open in February (smaller yearlings often don’t lamb here) and is ready to grow out and breed this fall to lamb as a 2-year-old. Note she has slight ear damage from ear tag tearing.
