Offered for sale as a purebred, registered Katahdin ewe $450 – exposed
Ample-bodied two year old ewe with big orange spots. Balanced and moderate EBVs, but strong on milk. Pedigree traces back to Birch Cove Farm (David Coplen, Missouri), KRK (Karen Kenagy, Oregon) and Just Plain Sheep (Jody Ouradnik, now retired) genetics. Sire is from Birch Cove, he is one of the strongest EBV rams in the country right now, with strong, proven data behind him. We are lucky to have him here on the west coast and he’s going to be an influencer for some time to come. She is NSIP Maternal Certified. Lambing record: 1/1.

Whatever lambs she has could be recorded as 50% or could be DNA tested for sire parentage for an extra fee (since she bred late, she was with several cleanup rams over winter.)
