Offered for sale as a purebred, registered Katahdin ewe, $450- exposed

Flashy chocolate and white pinto ewe.  Her EBVs are modest across the board, which is why I’m selling her, her scores are just a little low to stay on my keeper list. But she is a good mother and has many years of lambing left in her.  Pedigree is a blend of Birch Cove Farm (David Coplen, Missouri), Carl Ginapp (Iowa, now retired from sheep), and line bred on a ram tracing back to KRK (Karen Kenagy, Oregon), plus my own genetics. Lambing record starting as a yearling: 1/1, 2/2, 1/1, 2/1, 2/1. (Prior year she had 1 stillborn, this year, I grafted one to another ewe in a moment of chaos management, though she may have been able to raise it fine had I had time to deal with whatever was going on that was separating them.)

Photo taken September 2023. EBVs from 2023 lamb crop EPWWT data.  She is NSIP genotyped. She has been exposed/bred to KRK18560 and scheduled to lamb early April 2024.
