Cute fawn, freckle-faced ewe. Really nice EBVs across the board, lots of triplets in this pedigree and NLB score, along with good growth, survival and positive milk. This poor girl was quietly laying down in labor behind some bushes right in the middle of the day, and I missed that she had a shoulder-locked lamb until it was too late! So easy to pull, if only I would have caught it in time. 🙁 So, this loss was not really her fault and I have confidence she’ll be a good mother from here on out, she comes from very maternal lines.
