Offered for sale as a purebred Katahdin ewe $400, exposed
Larger-framed white ewe with “Raggedy Ann” black markings on her nose and eyes. Really strong growth and survival EBVs, but moderate on prolificacy and milk. This girl will be an uncomplicated producer of fast-growing, vigorous twins most of the time. Diverse blend of Birch Cove (David Coplen, Missouri), Misty River Farm (Mary Bakko, Moses Lake, now retired), On the Lamb Farm (Sara-Jo Gahm in Arlington), and White Post Farm (East Coast, now retired). Lambing record starting as a yearling: 1/1.
Photo taken Sept 2020. EBVs from 2020 lamb crop birth data. This ewe has been exposed to a ram starting 11/8. Rams are wearing marking harnesses, so I will know her breed date.
