Tall dark mahogany ewe. Really strong growth, milk and survival EBVs. Her NLB score is fairly low pedigree-wide, so she may steer away from triplets and single some of the time. Sire is one of the top NSIP rams in the country with lots of data and accuracy behind is EBVs, out of Birch Cove (David Coplen, Missouri). Dam also traces back to Birch Cove, and my own/local genetics.
Photo taken May 2023. EBVs from 2023 lamb crop WWT data. She is NSIP genotyped. She had a beautiful and very well fed ram lamb that died from clostridium (overeating disease) at three weeks of age. This is not her fault, it’s just a bummer consequence of breakthrough cases despite a good vaccination protocol. So she is unencumbered and ready to go to a new home today and be bred this fall.
