Offered for sale as a Katahdin pet ewelamb, $200
Pretty feminine ewelamb with fawn spotting. She has a great pedigree, but unfortunately was born with entropion, a genetic condition where her eyelids turned in (the first one I’ve ever encountered!). Thus, she shouldn’t be bred and risk passing on this trait, which can cause discomfort and eye irritation in the lamb until treated. The good news is, entropion is easily corrected with small injections of penicillin under the lower eyelid, which creates scar tissue that causes the eyelid to turn back outward like it should. As you can see in the photo, the issue is corrected and she is healthy doing well.
