Offered for sale as a registerable Katahdin yearling ewe $300

Tall, full-bodied white ewelamb with black dots. Strong on growth, survival and milk and moderate on prolificacy, for those who like to avoid triplets. Her pedigree is a blend of my own and local genetics, plus Birch Cove (David Coplen, Missouri), Misty River Farm (Mary Bakko, Moses Lake, now retired) and a Sue Hunter ewe.

EBVs from the 2023 lamb crop EPWWT data. Photo taken May 2023.  She is NSIP Maternal and Stud Certified. She was exposed to a ram last fall/winter. In Feb preg tests, she was noted as a “recheck” which likely means she is open, and thus will grow out and start her breeding career as a two year old. (If she is bred, she could lamb any time between April and July, as I run rams with the ewes all winter after the official breeding season.) See notes on bred ewelambs here.
