Offered for sale as a register-able Katahdin ram lamb $400
Striking dark mahogany ram. Sire came all the way from North Carolina State University, and traces back to Hound River Farm (Roxanne Newton, GA), Lee Wright, and USDA Research Station in Booneville AR. Dam is from local genetics that mostly trace back to KRK (Karen Kenagy, OR). This ram is moderate on growth and milk, weaker on parasite resistance, but good on prolificacy. Listing him at a lower price point as I know some folks really love this dark chocolate color.
EBVs from 2026 lamb crop BWT data. Photo taken May 2026. This ram will be weaned in August and ready to start breeding this fall!
