Offered for sale as a pet Katahdin ewe $275
Red baldface ewe with white socks and tail, good shedder. She is a good old mama. This year she was very sick post-birth, maybe toxemia, hypocalc or pneumonia. I nursed her through it and she is healthy now; but have priced her as a pet as she may need extra TLC as she gets older. She has very good EBVs across the board. Her dam is out of very old-stock PNW genetics including a Dorper way back there, sire is from Thistle Grove Farm (John Bare, DVM, in Iowa). Lambing record starting as a yearling: 1/0, 2/2, 2/2, 2/2, 2/2, 2/2, 2/1, 1/1, 2/2.
