Offered for sale as a purebred Katahdin ram $400
Very flashy-marked chocolate dappled ram with black socks and tons of wild spots. Positive growth, modest prolificacy but really good survival and milk. This will be a good maternal sire for those wanting replacement ewes that are less likely to triplet, while still offering solid growth genetics. Out of more of my home-bred stock, but tracing back to Thistle Grove Farm (John Bare, Iowa), Misty River Farm (Mary Bakko, Moses Lake, now retired), Aspen Mountain (Aileen Scott, Montana), and some KRK (Oregon) genetics as well.
Photo taken Aug 2020. EBVs from 2020 lamb crop WWT data. This ram will be weaned and ready to go to a new home late August.
