Offered for sale as a purebred Katahdin ewelamb, $550 at side of dam
Beefy little white ewelamb with brown spots. She’s got really strong EBVs across the board, this is a very good set of genetics. Dam traces back to Birch Cove Farm (David Coplen, Missouri) and KRK (Karen Kenagy, Oregon) genetics. Sire is from Birch Cove, he is one of the strongest EBV rams in the country right now, with strong, proven data behind him. We are lucky to have him here on the west coast and he’s going to be an influencer for some time to come.
Photo taken May 2022. I’m selling this girl at the side of her dam (see her dam here) through early July, at which time she’ll be weaned and can be sold separately. Her dam has a compromised milk supply, so this lamb is being raised by her and is nursing, but is also supplementing herself on a teat bucket and a creep pen with grain and alfalfa. She is growing well and will be a good breeder.
