Offered for sale as a purebred, registered Katahdin ewe TBD price with lambs at side
Beautiful Hereford-red ewe, very well put together. Moderate frame size. Positive growth EBVs, lower on milk and prolificacy. She’ll likely steer clear of triplets most of the time. Pedigree is a blend of Misty River Farm (Mary Bakko, Moses Lake, now retired) plus hardy, old-stock local genetics, including a ram out of the old Bert Martineau line, one of the original Washington State Katahdin commercial flocks. Breeding record starting as a two-year-old: 2/2, 2/2, 2/2, 2/2.
Photo taken August 2020. EBVs from 2020 lamb crop PWWT data. This ewe is due to lamb in early April, and I’ll update her listing with price with lambs at side as soon as they are ready to go!
